Spring Cassette



This spring cassette sits inside the base of your door handle backplate providing a sprung solution and returning the multipoint lock handles back to their original position after usage. These handles used to have no spring and would drop when the locking mechanism was disconnected. Adding this simple component is among the best methods to correct this, and is a great way to prevent your doors made of upvc from becoming stuck in the open or closed position, as these are not always easy to manually close by hand.

The spring cassettes were made to be used with sprung multipoint lock. They will not fit handles that aren't sprung and you'll have to cut a hole into your backplate in order for them to fit. They are available as a single unit. They feature a square cut out that accommodates an 8mm shaft.
